  • 1 lb. baby carrots
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon light butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  1. Rinse off the baby carrots and add them to a saucepan. Add enough water to cover the top of the carrots.

  2. Bring carrots to a boil then cover and reduce heat to medium. Cook for 20 minutes.

  3. Drain half of the water then add the brown sugar, butter and salt. Let simmer 10 more minutes then serve.
