Skinny Peppermint Mocha - Starbucks Copycat

  • 1/2 cup strong coffee or espresso
  • 1/2 cup fat free skim milk
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1 tablespoon granulated Splenda or sweetener of choice
  1. Add the milk, cocoa powder, sweetener and peppermint extract to a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat until the cocoa powder dissolves and the milk is heated through.

  2. Use a handheld milk frother until it is foamy. (You can also use a whisk or blender.)

  3. Pour into a coffee mug and add the coffee or espresso.
