  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken tenderloins
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup fat-free half and half
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 tablespoon water
  • Parsley flakes (optional)
  1. Preheat a 10″ frying pan over medium-low heat.

  2. In a small bowl mix together the salt, chili powder, onion powder, garlic powder and cayenne pepper.

  3. Sprinkle the seasoning over all sides of the chicken tenderloins.

  4. Melt the butter in the frying pan and add the chicken. Cook 7-8 minutes or until done, turning halfway through.

  5. Remove the chicken breasts from the pan, then add the fat-free half and half. Scrape the bottom of the pan and stir together.

  6. In a small bowl mix together the cornstarch and water, then add it to the pan.

  7. Stir the sauce frequently until it thickens, then add the chicken back in.

  8. Optional: add the chicken to 1/2 cup angel hair pasta (3 Freestyle points) for a total of 6 Freestyle points.
