Greek Turkey Burgers

Yield: 4 servings (1 point per serving for blue and purple, 3 points for green)

  • 1 lb. 99% fat free ground turkey breast
  • 1/2 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1/4 cup reduced-fat feta cheese
  • 1/4 cup red onion, chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  1. Preheat a frying pan on medium heat.

  2. Add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Use your hands to combine all of the ingredients. Split the turkey mixture into four portions and form 4 patties.

  3. If possible cover the patties and refrigerate for an hour. If you're short on time you can get right to cooking them.

  4. Cook the turkey burgers for four minutes on each side or until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
