Ingredients
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2 large bananas)
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup sugar-free maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup skim milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

  2. Peel the bananas, add them to a mixing bowl and mash them.

  3. Add the applesauce, maple syrup, skim milk, eggs, baking soda, vanilla extract, salt and cinnamon to the bananas. Stir together.

  4. Next add the flour and stir until blended, but do not over stir it.

  5. Spray your bread pan with no-stick cooking spray, then add the banana bread mixture.

  6. Bake 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
