Course: Main Course
  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 oranges
  • 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • green onions (optional)
  1. Cut the chicken breast into bite size pieces.

  2. Heat a non-stick frying pan and add the sesame oil, then the chicken breast. Cook for 3 minutes on each side or until the chicken is fully cooked.

  3. Add the garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute. Then add the juice from both oranges, the soy sauce and honey. Stir, then bring it to a simmer.

  4. Mix the cornstarch with two tablespoons of water, then stir it into the chicken. Let cook for 2 minutes, until it thickens. Serve and add chopped green onions if using.
