One of the things that makes me sad about summer coming to an end is missing out on all of the fresh fruit. So it’s time to make the most of the time I have left!
I had some delicious raspberries ready to be eaten. Actually, I had a lot. So I wanted to do something so I could freeze them so they didn’t go to waste. That’s when the frozen yogurt covered raspberries came to mind.
I always have non-fat Greek yogurt in my fridge. So I figured it would be super easy to jazz up the yogurt some, dip the raspberries in it, then freeze them.
It was the perfect answer to freezing my raspberries and not letting them go to waste. Plus I can grab a couple out of the freezer whenever I want a little snack.
These raspberries are 0 Weight Watchers Freestyle points so I don’t even need to worry about grabbing a handful of raspberries throughout the day.
For the yogurt, I added vanilla extract and Splenda. I used a toothpick to dip the raspberries into the yogurt.
Then I placed them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
I popped them in the freezer for one hour and that was it!
I’m happy to say that both of my daughters helped me with this blog post. My older daughter took the picture of me dipping the raspberry in the yogurt and my younger daughter took the picture of the raspberries on the baking sheet.
I love it when they want to help me out. As they get older I find these moments to be more precious than ever. My oldest daughter will be a Junior in high school this year. Time flies!

Yield: 1 or more servings (0 points for blue and purple, 1 point total for green)
- 1/2 cup fat-free Greek yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon granulated Splenda or another artificial sweetener
- 6 oz. raspberries
In a small bowl mix together the yogurt, vanilla extract and Splenda.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Use a toothpick and dip a raspberry into the yogurt mixture, then place on the baking sheet. Repeat with all of the raspberries.
Freeze for 1 hour, then enjoy!
